The 3rd Annual SoxFest will be held this Memorial Day Weekend in the Jackson Metro Area,
the kickoff for the 2022 Summer Season for the SBG Sox High School Showcase teams. This year will also feature a 13U (2027 grads) Division.
Each year the SBG Sox invites teams to Jackson for a city-wide tournament featuring some of the top high school players in the south. Thirty SBG Sox teams will participate in the event, with teams formed in Jackson, Starkville, Hattiesburg, Hartselle AL, Auburn AL, and Huntsville AL. This year the Sox welcome the Easley Baseball Club and the NOLA Monsters. Also invited and competing this year will be the Traction Canes from Baton Rouge, the Laurel Dirtbags and the Oak Grove Black.
The Easley Baseball Club, based in the Memphis/North Mississippi area, will compete with 16 teams playing in the 2023-2026 grad year divisions. EBC is owned and operated by former professional player Ed Easley.
New for 2022 will be the NOLA Monsters Baseball Club. Based in New Orleans, the Monsters will be competing in all 5 age divisions with a total of 8 teams making the trip to Jackson. NOLA is owned and operated by showcase baseball fixture Todd Buster.
