Jackson – P360 Performance Sports, headquartered in Jackson MS, announced today that it has acquired The Performance Lab located in Mobile, AL. The Performance Lab is a state of the art 30,000 square foot baseball and softball training facility and includes a strength and conditioning performance training center. P360 Performance Sports – Mobile is the 8th baseball training facility in Mississippi and Alabama.
Hayden Roberts has been promoted to the Facility Director in Mobile and will be directing the very popular SBG Sox Youth Baseball Program in the area. Hayden has been with P360 Performance Sports since 2019. “Hayden has been with us for awhile now and stands out for us as a leader on the field and in the gym. He will be an awesome addition to a great TPL staff in Mobile”, stated founder Chris Snopek.
A graduate of Alma Bryant High School, Hayden played collegiately at Alabama Southern CC where he earned All-Region honors. He then transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2017 and pitched for three years in the Rockies organization. An assistant baseball coach at Pascagoula High School, he was part of the 2021 South State Championship team. Hayden served as coach for the SBG Sox in Hattiesburg and recently served as a Head Coach and Pitching Coordinator at the P360 Gulf Coast location in Pascagoula.
TPL Co-Owner Ben Daw remains with the company and will oversee the Baseball Performance programs in the Mobile facility as well as the Strength and Conditioning Program. “I can’t wait to get started working with the P360 and SBG Sox team and Hayden”, said Ben. “he brings a ton of baseball experience, and working together we will make the SBG Sox the best they can be in Mobile.” Originally from Mobile, Ben played at Faith Academy where he won three 3A State Championships as a high schooler. He played at Shelton State for two seasons – playing in the Alabama State Junior College Tournament twice. A middle infielder, Ben Daw finished his career with the University of South Alabama. He also serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Faith Academy. According to Chris Snopek, who founded P360 in 2001, “We have all been very impressed with Ben and look forward to working with him. He brings a lot of talent and enthusiasm to the table and will be a great teammate for Hayden Roberts.”
TPL Co-Owner Josh Hopkinson was instrumental in pulling the deal together, motivated in bringing the SBG Sox to Mobile. "I've known Chris Snopek for several years and have seen it expand so quickly on the Gulf Coast. When the opportunity came we knew we had to take it and the process has been smooth and exciting", said Josh Hopkinson. "We are all ready to put in the work to bring great baseball to Mobile and grow with the P360 family."
The SBG Sox Youth Program will be hosting tryouts in the Mobile area on January 20 starting at 11:00 am for 9U – 12U Players at the P360 Mobile facility. A player development program, the SBG Sox fields 70 teams in its Mississippi and Alabama locations. Each team is operated by P360 with quality coaches provided by P360. All teams train in the facilities.

SBG Sox High School Showcase Program operates 33 teams from the ages of 14U in Alabama and Mississippi. Teams are organized according to their graduation year, with both National and Regional teams competing in Perfect Game, Prep Baseball Report and other showcase events throughout the south.
P360 Performance Sports owns and operates the Southeast Collegiate League, with teams in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Tennessee. Players with NCAA eligibility, including recently signed freshmen, are qualified to play in the SECL each summer, with approximately 20 teams taking the field each season.
