Each year SBG Sox provides the opportunity to 14U players to move from the traditional youth tournament schedule and play in showcases for the summer. Three teams will be formed: current SBG Sox players are given the first opportunity, then open tryouts may be held to complete the summer rosters.

The summer showcase schedules will allow for most players to continue playing for their Sox team through most of June. Players that opt to play in the summer will then continue play in showcases including Perfect Game, PBR and SBG Sox events held in Jackson and Hattiesburg. (note: there may be one or two conflicts depending on your youth team schedule. SBG Sox management will work with coaches of each team to mitigate the conflicts where possible, and may include adding a guest player in place of a showcase player). Showcase teams will play at least 4 events and no more than 5 events.

There is an additional cost to consider when making a decision to play in showcases, with two  choices: National and Regional Schedule.

The cost for National Teams will be $1,200, - this will increase your monthly payment from $170 per month to $300 per month for 4 months (June, July, August and September 2022). Expect to travel to Atlanta GA and Hoover AL.

The cost for Regional Teams will be $850 - this will increase your monthly payment an additional $212.50 per month for 4 months (June, July, August and September 2022). Expect to travel to Jackson, Hattiesburg and Memphis TN.
